Coil Springs

Coil Spring This is sometimes called a helical spring. It is used to absorb shock.

These are made of an elastic material and formed into the shape of a helix. This will return to its normal length when released after being compressed. This is a type of torsion spring where it will act in torsion when compressed or extended.

The coil springs in our vehicles are compression coil springs and designed to resist being compressed. These are sometimes found wrapped around a strut or shock absorber. They are used to help cushion the ride from a bumpy road. These coil springs work directly with the shock or strut in almost an opposite way.

Sometimes people will change these out with either shorter or taller versions to lower or raise their vehicles. If you want your vehicle to sit closer to the ground and have less clearance between the wheel and tire, this is one component you can swap out.

If you need to replace these coil springs on your vehicle, or maybe you just want to change up the look of your vehicle by lowering or raising it, Clickonautoparts.com is here for you. We stock many sizes for many vehicles. Using our nationwide network of warehouses we can get the springs to you quickly. Here at Clickonautoparts.com we have all the high quality auto parts you need at low prices because we know that is what you need.
